One day with a Role Model ...
‘Women Science Teachers’ brings young people together with leaders in the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts and maths (STEAM), enabling young people to gain role models for their future lives. It enabled young people to work with mentor leaders such as CEOs, academicians and managers for a day and receive training from them. Our mentors; Dilşad Kırbaşlı Karaoğlu, Former Consul General of Brussels - Turkey's Deputy Director General for EU Affairs, Sani ŞENER (CEO of TAV AIRPORTS) and Ayşen ZAMANPUR (CEO, SILK and CASHMERE)
TAV AIRPORTS
Dr.Mustafa Sani Şener who is the co-founder and the chief executive officer of TAV Airports Holding and TAV Construction. Mr. Şener explained us the connection of the future of aviation endustry and science.
SILK and CASHMERE
Ayşen Zamanpur, who is the founder of Silk and Casmere Company, explained the importance of science in the textile industry and the factors of her great success story to us.

Dilşad Kırbaşlı Karaoğlu, former Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Brussels and Deputy Director General for EU Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Mrs Karaoğlu told us about her unique experiences and what she went through in her career.
GENDER EQUALITY ın SCIENCE EDUCATION
The " Gender Equality in Science Education" conference organized by ARSTEAMapp Project(Partner project of SDC23 and Arnavutköy Korkmaz Yiğit Anatolian High School (KYAL) and Women Science Teachers was held on 27 March 2023. Işıl Hasdemir (General Manager of Dell Technologies -Turkey), Dr. Fatma Caner (Marmara University) and YaseminAltınsoy (Founder of Kidory digital story gave information about STEM activities, technological developments in Turkey.
